While surfing or more precisely looking for cc1200 code snippets, I found this interesting project. M17 is an open source hardware and software radio. So they directly offer driver for the cc1200 chip hat-fw. If you want you can build the radio based on the cc1200 chip using the CC1200 Shield. Or the SX1255 RPi
